Product information "Silicon Solar Radiation Sensor Type SOZ-03"

 

  • Monocrystalline or polycrystalline Silicon Solar Cell (50 x 50 mm²) laminated under special Solar Glass with excelent UV resistance and long-term stability
  • Plain integration into the top cover of the box
  • Advanced weatherproof junction box made uf UV resistant material with cable gland and screw-less terminal for the connection of the measuring cable
  • High precision shunt resistor directly soldered to the terminals of the cell
  • Linear output signal in the range 50...1500 W/m²
  • Individual calibration of each sensors in the natural sunlight close to AM 1,5 spectrum by means of a compatible calibrated reference cell
  • Output signal in the range of 90...110 mV @ 1000 W/m²
  • Accuracy of monthly sums compared to a W.M.O. class 1 Pyranometer (e.g. CMP 11) according to ISO 9060: better ±5
  • Very small drift of <0.3 / year (experience since 1989)
  • Option 1: monocrystalline or polycrystalline solar cells
  • Option 2: calibrated or non-calibrated
  • Option 3: integrated temperature sensor (Pt100 or Pt1000; mounted directly on the back of the silicon measuring cell with thermal adhesive)
  • Option 4:
    • Single signal amplifier for the solar irradiation signal.

      • Optional with additional 4...20 mA-output (2-wire-interface)

      • For the irradiation measurement (S1):

        • Optional with additional 4...20 mA-output (2-wire-interface)
      • For the temperature measurement (S2):
        • Output signal 0...10 VDC for temperature measuring range -30...+70°
        • Optional with output signal 4...20 mA, instead of 0...10 VDC

      • In addition, up to two external digital temperature sensors (for example, for measuring the ambient temperature and the PV module temperature).
        As well as an external wind speed sensor (anemometer).
        The microcontroller board with connection terminals is installed in the housing of the SOZ-03. The delivery includes a digital temperature sensor (DS18B20), which is attached directly to the back of the solar measuring cell and thus detects the temperature of the measuring cell.
