In a partnership between EOL energie-online.de GmbH and anemos Gesellschaft für Umweltmeteorologie mbH we offer maps for Poland and bordering regions.
The wind data is based on computational reanalyses using a state of the art weather model (MM5). The average wind resources are based on the anemos time series period 2000 – 2008, 10 minutes interval and spatial resolution 5x5 km. The data has been verified and validated by several measuring campaigns by the consultancy specialists of CUBE Engineering GmbH.
Although it is believed to represent an accurate overview of the general wind resources, wind forecasts at concrete locations should be confirmed by measurements.
